Lagos Speaker: Court Fixes March 7 for Hearing of All Pending Applications in Obasa’s Suit

Obasa had dragged the state government, the Assembly to court over what he termed as unlawful removal.

Justice Yetunde Rukayat Pinheiro of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja , has fixed March 7 , for hearing of all pending applications in the suit filed by former Speaker of the State House Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa.

Obasa had dragged the state government, the Assembly to court over what he termed as unlawful removal.

The lawsuit, filed on February 14, 2025, also names the current Speaker, Lasbat Mojisola Meranda, and  as defendants.
