The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) asked Super Eagles fans on Monday to fill Godswill Akpabio Stadium with green and white when Nigeria hosts Zimbabwe in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Tuesday evening.

In order to get supporters to the stadium, the NFF stated that the first 500 people to buy tickets would receive Super Eagles jerseys.

This was stated in a statement signed by Dr Mohammed Sanusi, the NFF General Secretary.

“We are calling on Nigerians to turn out in large numbers to support the Super Eagles on Tuesday,” the statement partly read.
