She has worked with leading media organisations, including African Independent Television, Aso Television and Radio, Advocate Broadcasting Network and BenTV Europe.

She also produced and presented NNPCL Energy Today, a specialised energy programme aired on Channels Television.

A specialist in energy and environmental journalism, Adah also serves as Producer of The Exchange, Per Second News’ flagship podcast, where she leads content development, editorial planning and production.

Her extensive experience and passion for impactful storytelling, public affairs and amplifying Nigerian voices will play a central role in advancing the organisation’s digital and multimedia strategy.

Dr. Emily Howswirthz, the newly appointed Health and Wellness Editor, is a distinguished physician, humanitarian advocate and healthcare leader. She brings more than two decades of experience in the medical profession.

During her career, Dr. Howswirthz has served in some of Hamburg, Germany’s leading hospitals, where she has consistently demonstrated excellence in patient care, clinical leadership and healthcare system development.

Beyond her medical practice, she has distinguished herself through her commitment to humanitarian service and community development, particularly in East Africa. She has contributed to several health outreach initiatives, wellness advocacy programmes and charitable interventions aimed at improving access to healthcare and supporting vulnerable communities.

In her new role, Dr. Howswirthz will lead Per Second News’ health and wellness coverage, providing expert-driven, accessible and credible content on public health, preventive care, medical developments and healthy living.
