According to the Police Police Relations Officer in the state, DSP Abayomi Jimoh, Nafisat committed the criminal act on February 5, 2026, following a dispute between her and the victim’s mother, Rofiyat, at their residence in Omifon community of the local government.

“The act was reportedly carried out following a misunderstanding between the complainant and the suspect, who is the complainant’s landlady.

“Police detectives, during a swift and intelligence-led operation, arrested the suspect. In the course of the investigation, the detectives also recovered the liquid substance.”
