The immediate former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has again hit at Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
According to reports, in the past days, the accusation of the leader of Northern Star, Naja’atu Muhammad, in a viral TikTok video on Ribadu had sparked controversies.
Muhammad alleged that Ribadu, while he was serving as Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, discredited the virtue of President Bola Tinubu and other top politicians who are currently in the government.
El-Rufai had backed Muhammad when he released a newspaper article as evidence of where Ribadu vowed to expose leaders of the All Progressives Congress, including President Tinubu. According to him, Ribadu has serious amnesia.
However, in a letter by Ribadu, he denied that he spoke ill of President Tinubu and other APC leaders in the past. He further called on Muhammad to retract her claim or face legal action.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, through his official X account, El-Rufai launched a fresh attack on Ribadu.
Responding to an article ‘Revealed: Real Reason Ribadu Defected to PDP,’ El-Rufai wrote: I missed this in 2014. No one should miss it now. Very insightful about the real character of my erstwhile friend.”.
