Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior should the Brazilian fail to agree a new contract with the Spanish giants.
According to The Athletic, the Gunners’ interest remains at an early stage, with no formal approach made.
As a result, there is no certainty that the Premier League club will pursue a deal for the 26-year-old or that any potential transfer will materialise.
It is understood there have been no club-to-club talks yet, but the idea “has approval at all levels within Arsenal”.
Vinicius Jr is into the last 12 months of his contract after eight seasons at Real Madrid.
