Victor Osimhen says he is delighted to continue his story with Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray.
Osimhen arrived Istanbul on Wednesday night to seal his permanent transfer to the Yellow and Reds.
The 26-year-old was mobbed on arrival by thousands of fans.
His permanent transfer to Galatasaray is expected to be made official on Thursday (today).
Osimhen spent the 2024/25 season on loan with Galatasaray helping Okan Buruk’s side win a domestic double.
The 26-year-old registered 37 goals, and eight assists in 41 outings across all competitions for Galatasaray.
The forward declared that he is elated to continue his story with the club.
“I don’t know how to describe my feelings. I’m so excited, I’ve arrived at the place I love,” he told reporters on his arrival in Istanbul.
“I’m happy to continue with Galatasaray. My story continues.”
Galatasaray activated the €75m release clause in his contract to seal the transfer.
