Award-winning author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has criticized President Donald Trump’s administration in the United States, likening it to the corrupt system of democracy in Africa.

The Americanah author stated that Trump’s administration feels like a Nigerian government.

She emphasized that the president’s administration “really does feel” like America is being governed by an “African big man.”
