The Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Ede Dafinone, on Wednesday demanded justice for the brutally murdered Inspector Akor Onuh, a gallant officer of the Nigeria Police Force, who was violently killed when thugs of Edo State Security Network (ESSN) and Edo State Public Works Volunteers (PUWOV) attacked the convoy of Senator Okpebholo at the exit gate of Benin Airport on Thursday 18th July 2024.

Senator Dafinone urged the Senate to mandate the Nigeria Police to thoroughly investigate the attack that led to the death of Inspector Onuh and injury of several others, and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The Senator also called on the Senate to urge all politicians and political parties to ensure free and credible elections in both States.
