Super Falcons players, in a spirit of sportsmanship, paid a visit to Banyana Banyana midfielder Gabriela Salgado in Casablanca on Tuesday.

Salgado sustained a serious injury in Banyana Banyana’s 2-1 defeat to Nigeria at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium, Casablanca, on Tuesday. The player suffered a fracture in her left leg following an accidental collision.

She underwent successful surgery at the Mohammed VI University Hospital on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old is expected to be out of action for about a year.
