Defending champions, the Super Falcons of Nigeria, will know their group opponents at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations on Thursday.
The draw ceremony, according to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), will be held in Rabat, Morocco.
16 countries will participate in the competition for the first time.
Morocco will also host the biennial tournament for the third consecutive edition.
Nigeria and Morocco will be joined by Algeria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia.
The WAFCON 2026 finals will run from 17 March to 3 April.
