This year’s Women’s African Cup of Nations ended on Saturday night, with Nigeria defeating hosts Morocco 3-2 in the final.

The Super Falcons had to fight back from two goals in the first half to claim a record-extending 10th title.

Ghizlane Chebbak and Sanaa Mssoudy’s goals were cancelled out in the second half, with Esther Okoronkwo inspiring a comeback.

Okoronkwo pulled one back from the spot, before setting up Folashade Ijamilusi for the equalizer.

Jennifer Echegini then got on the end of a free-kick to score a late winner.
