The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has claimed that the popularity of former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, poses a challenge to the state government ahead of the 2027 general elections.

NDC Director of New Media and Strategic Communications, Theo Abu Agada, made the claim on Monday while speaking on the political situation in the state.

Agada said Obi’s continued popularity among voters in Anambra could influence the political landscape ahead of the 2027 elections.
