Ola Aina is on the verge of penning a new long-term contract with Nottingham Forest.

The Tricky Trees have already triggered the one-year option in his contract, which will see him remain at the City Ground for the 2025/26 season.

Forest are, however, desperate to tie him down for more years, according to the Telegraph.

Negotiation is advancing positively, and an agreement is regarded as a formality.
