Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, has insisted that President Donald Trump would have lost the 2024 presidential election if it were not for him.
The tech billionaire made the claim in a post on his social media platform X on Thursday.
Musk’s latest comment escalated a feud that erupted earlier between him and Trump.
“Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate,” Musk wrote.
“Such ingratitude,” the 53-year-old added.
Musk spent millions of dollars supporting Trump’s election in 2024.
He appeared alongside the Republican on the campaign trail during its final weeks.
Musk then led the United States Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE.
His latest comments come amid an influx of posts on X, in which he called for the Trump-backed “big, beautiful bill” to be killed in Congress.
