ICPC to Arraign Nasir El-Rufai at Federal High Court Kaduna

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, has announced that the former Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, alongside Joel Adoga, will be arraigned at the Federal High Court of Nigeria in the Kaduna Judicial Division on Tuesday, 24th March 2026.

This notice was signed by John Okor Odey, Head, Media and Public Communications on Monday.

The case, filed under suit number FHC/KD/73/2026, includes charges ranging from conversion of and possession of public property to money laundering.

According to the notice, another charge has been filed against El-Rufai and Amadu Sule (LEDA) at the Kaduna State High Court, under case number KDH/KAD/ICPC/01/26.

The charges in this case cover abuse of office, fraud, intent to commit fraud, and conferring undue advantage, among others.

Both cases were filed by the ICPC on 18th March 2026.

While the date for El-Rufai’s arraignment at the State High Court will be communicated by the court in due time, the ICPC confirmed that he has been duly served.

The Commission reiterated its commitment to due process and the rule of law in handling cases.
