Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has said that Nigerians are relatively safer now under Tinubu’s government.

Bwala stated this while responding to questions in an interview on ‘Sunday Politics’, a programme on Channels Television.

He said that before 2023, there were prison breaks everywhere in Nigeria, daylight kidnappings and everyday killings.

“In fact, US President Donald Trump, when he came in 2016, started selling to us some of the ammunition that the previous government didn’t give us.

“Nigerians are superlatively safer today than they were because you know that before 2023, there were prison breaks everywhere in Nigeria. Even in Abuja here, broad dailylight they would come and kidnap people.

“Before President Bola Tinubu came on board, you saw everyday killings in every part of this country.

“But after he became president, we have not heard of prison break and people are going about their businesses across the country,” he said.
