PHOTOS |  Police Arrest Man, 20, for Snatching Phone from Uber Driver | METROWATCH

Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad arrested one Abdul-Lateef Mutiu, 20, who is also an ex-convict, after he snatched an Infinix Hot 30 Play valued at N93,000 from an Uber driver in Ketu, Lagos.

This was made known in a post on the Squad’s official Facebook account on Thursday.

According to RRS, “The suspect had after snatching the phone from the driver, attempted to escape when the officers arrested him.”

“The suspect confessed that he has been operating in the area since 2018 and has been arrested two times.”

The RRS Commander, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi has directed that the phone be handed over to its owner while the suspect be charged to court immediately.
