Nigerian singer Rema’s debut album ‘Rave & Roses’ has ended its record as the longest-charting African album on the Billboard World Albums Chart, hitting a milestone of 170 weeks on the chart.

Rave Roses broke the record, which was previously held by Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ (164 weeks) last year.

Other longest-charting African projects on the chart include Tems’ ‘Born In The Wild’ (79 weeks), Burna Boy’s ‘Love, Damini’ (63 weeks), and the legendary Fela’s ‘The Best Of The Black President’ (45 weeks).

Meanwhile, Rema earned his second Billboard Hot 100 chart entry this week with ‘Secondhand’ with Don Toliver debuting at 29.
