Tinubu Arrives in Kebbi, Set to Declare 61st Argungu International Fishing Festival Open

President Bola Tinubu on Saturday arrived in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital for a one-day official visit.

The President touched down at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, where he was received by Governor Nasir Idris, senior government officials and other dignitaries.

The President is also billed to proceed to the fishing arena to formally declare open the 61st edition of the 2026 Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival as Special Guest of Honour.

Dignitaries, including the Governor of Sokoto State and other state governors, are in attendance and are expected to accompany the President for the official commencement of the festival.
