Tinubu Arrives UAE Ahead of Sustainability Summit

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in the United Arab Emirates ahead of the 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week
summit.

The President touched down at about 11:p.m. local time and was received by the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.

His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said the president is attending the summit at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to him, the annual global forum brings together leaders from government and business to discuss sustainable development.

This year’s summit is themed “The Nexus of Next: All Systems Go.”

Recall that President Tinubu left Nigeria on December 28, departing Lagos as part of what the Presidency described as an end-of-year break in Europe.

He was last week seen in France meeting with Rwanda’s president.
