The Board of Trustees, BoT, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is on the second day of an emergency meeting convened to deliberate on the party’s future following Monday’s Court of Appeal judgment.

The ruling has implications for the party’s leadership structure and the timelines for its convention.

Under the leadership of BoT Chairman Adolphus Wabara, members convened the high-level session to chart a clear roadmap for the party ahead of the 2027 elections.

The discussions are ongoing, with members reviewing key issues and making recommendations to enhance unity, stability, and effective leadership within the party.
