Dangote Group Wednesday said the fire incident at the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company Ltd has been put off and the facility in full operation.

In a statement, the Group’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Mr. Anthony Chiejina, urged the public to entertain no fear as there was no cause for alarm.

In a terse statement, Chiejina said: “We have swiftly contained a minor fire incident at our effluent treatment plant (ETP), today Wednesday 26th of June.

 

“There is no cause for alarm as the refinery is operating and there is no recorded injury or body harm to any of our staff on duty.”
