Iran has blasted the United States president over his recent threat of blowing up the entire country if Iran does not keep to the ultimatum of reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
The minister of cultural affairs and tourism, Sayed Reza Salihi-Amiri, who reacted to Trump’s threat, stated that the US president is an unstable and delusional figure marked by a set of contradictions.
Recall that Trump, who earlier gave Iran a deadline, extended the ultimatum to completely open the Strait of Hormuz to international shipping traffic.
At the weekend, Trump stressed his warning that if Iran does not fully reopen the critical maritime passageway for oil and trade by Tuesday, they would be living hell.
Responding, Salihi-Amiri stated that the Strait of Hormuz is open to the world, but closed to Iran’s enemies.
