Rivers Assembly to Serve Fubara, Deputy Impeachment Notice in 7 days

The assembly on Thursday commenced Fubara’s impeachment processes.

The Rivers State House of Assembly has resolved to serve Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his Deputy, Ngozi Nma Odu, with their impeachment notice within the next seven days.

The assembly on Thursday commenced Fubara’s impeachment processes.

Major Jack, the leader of the State Assembly, read the gross misconduct charges against Governor Fubara and his Deputy during an emergency plenary on Thursday.

At least 26 members of the house moved for the governor’s impeachment.
