The newly appointed Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Tunji Disu, has arrived at Aso Rock for his swearing-in ceremony.
President Bola Tinubu appointed Disu to replace the outgoing IGP Kayode Egbetokun on Tuesday.
Tunji Disu is a career officer with more than three decades of service in the Nigeria Police Force.
He was born on 13 April 1966 in Lagos Island, Lagos State; joined the Police Force on 18 May 1992; and has risen steadily through the ranks.
